Lyle Rayfield | Metal Clay Meets Metal Smith | Friday, February 2nd, 2018 | 9 am – 4 pm

Who knew the two would get along so well? This mixed media class introduces silver metal clay to copper sheet for a “riveting” introduction. You’ll start the morning by designing, cutting, and refining a copper cuff bracelet, followed by creating your choice of textured embellishments in silver clay. While your embellishments are being kiln-fired, you’ll continue the day with a choice of hammered textures for your cuff, followed by a torch-fired patina, and ending with a riveting experience for the two-metal combo.
