Hi EPIC ADVENTURES students!
We are getting really excited about our upcoming retreat next month! Erin and Barb are working diligently to put the finishing touches on everything. We’re going to begin emailing you with updates and information that we hope will be beneficial to you. Our experience is that students become a bit anxious about what to expect when they arrive at an event such as ours, and our goal is to take the worry and stress out of your time with us.
We have created a way to group text you during our retreat. We’ll send informational updates throughout the day to you. And, it works both directions; you can contact us without having to search us out at the hotel.
Could you do us a favor please? If you are a new student, would you please text Barb on the phone that you plan to bring to Chandler and include your name in the body of the text so we can confirm the accuracy of the information she has in her records? Thanks!
Here’s Barb’s cell phone number
If you are a returning student, and your number hasn’t changed since your last retreat with us, we have all the info we need – no need to do anything!
We also have a private Facebook page for you and Danny to communicate with each other. If you are a returning EPIC ADVENTURES student, no need to do anything but click the link to the page and begin chatting! If you are a new EPIC student, you’ll need to connect to the FB page. It’s a two-part process to join. First, you and Barb have to be friends on her page (here’s the link). Once you are friends, you can request to become a member of Danny’s EPIC ADVENTURES private Facebook page. If you don’t have a Facebook page, don’t fret. We send all of our correspondences with you via email, so you won’t miss out on anything.
We have an active Instagram page and would love for you to share your photos and posts with us throughout the retreat. You can find us here and here. Hashtag your posts to #dannysepicadventures and #vivimagooltd. Thanks for sharing your fun and projects with us!
We can assure you we have protocols in place to keep everyone safe during our three-day retreat which include temperature checks each morning, face masks worn throughout the day, hand sanitizer, nearby hand washing stations and liberal use of disinfectant in each classroom. Danny’s classroom is generous in size, meaning we will be able to safely distance each of you at your own individual workbench. He will be able to safely demo each step in his projects while you view from the safety of your own workbench. There will be no reason for you to leave your bench during the day – everything will be provided and brought to you in a safe manner.
You can click this link to read more about what the Drury Inn and Suites is doing to ensure their guest’s health and well-being.
We know you will enjoy your time with us and go home with a lot of new techniques and tips to use at your benches in the days that follow our retreat. As importantly, we know that you will forge friendships along the way and stay connected with these new and dear friends until you reunite with them at a future Vivi Magoo retreat.
We’re looking forward to gathering soon!
