April Bower | Yin/Yang: Reticulated/Fused/Granulated Ring with 18K Gold | Monday, February 3, 2020 | 9 am until 4:30 pm
$165.00
This ring has it all, Yin & Yang, opposite yet complimentary: Texture/ smooth, Angles / curves, High / low, light/ dark, gold/silver, soft /hard.
Using sterling for its best attributes, and Argentium for its best. Learn reticulation and depletion gilding, fusing and granulation. We will add 18k gold for luscious color, then Patinate to bring out all those contrasting elements.
Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.
The yin yang shows a balance between two opposites with a portion of the opposite element in each section.
opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world.
