Jessica Jordan Coté | Ripe on the Vine Necklace | Saturday, February 8, 2020 | 9 am until 5:30 pm
$195.00
A statement necklace is a seasonal conversation starter whether worn with a sundress or over a turtleneck. Students will create a dramatic neckpiece built around a large stone of their choosing, which will be both boxed in and prong set to create a substantial, durable focal point. A fused and soldered sterling chain in vine-like detail finished with an equally stylized toggle closure will give this low hanging fruit a natural habitat in which to shine. Students will learn to work with thick wire stock, prong setting, forging and forming layered links, fusing, texturing and more. Experience with a torch and saw recommended.
