Description
Title of Class: gleam – a venture into contrast and movement
Date of Class: September 17, 2020
Number of hours of class: 6
Time: 9:00 am until 4:00 pm
Maximum number of students: 9
(due to AZ gathering restrictions)
Level: beginner, intermediate
Type: Technique
Gleam – a steady but subdued shining; a glow.
I love contrast, and explore the concept in my own work by contrasting raw, organic, dark metal with faceted, sometimes sparkling stones that I call “ironic bling”.
On this day, if you joined us for the previous classes, you will have an option of continuing our venture into prong setting, or try your hand at bezel setting, as we create some ironic bling that will gleam from your lobes. You can go simple, or sublime, depending on your skill level. We will add elements to create wonderful movement, and should time allow, try our hand at different hinge options that allow your
creation to dance and sway.
