Did you know there are a variety of ways to create inlay jewelry?
Inlay Jewelry is made by creating a jewelry frame in metal with channels or voids that are meant to have gemstones inlayed into them. Tommy Singer (1940 – May 31, 2014) found a different and unique way to create beautiful inlay jewelry. Singer was a Navajo silversmith who gained acclaim as the originator of the chip inlay design which he developed in the 1970s.
Combining a hollow form base ring with chip inlay is an outrageously beautiful and one-of-a-kind piece of art jewelry! Come learn how to create a hollow form chip inlay ring in the Tommy Singer style.
